paints a negative picture of disability
patronizes people with disabilities
perpetuates misconceptions about disability

4. Choose language that is consistent with the ideal that lack of access is the problem.

Hi, I'm Damaris or 'Mari' for short. I am a Clinical Mental Health Counseling, currently in my first semester of the Internship.
I have interest in work with minority groups, this includes the Disability community. I am looking forward to learn along with the group and with the experiences that are displayed in the book as well.
