1. To reconcile with aboriginal peoples, ensure equality for them now and into the future, show concern for the community and take action

2. Aboriginal rights, child welfare, inclusivity, equality in institutions, increased funding, protection.

3. partner w UN for projects and reconciliation, collect statistics (infant mortality, suicide) to endure reconciliation is working and progress is being seen

4. get educated on our past mistakes to ensure they are not repeated in the future, teach generations to respect cultures of others. speak up for the equality of all peoples in canada <3

5. the government. citizens can and should take steps towards equality, but many large problems in aboriginal communities and the result of systematic inequalities (ie education) so real changes is up to them

6. promotes increased communication and acknowledgment of prejudice within society. creating a document like this solidifies these ideas for reconciliation and holds the government accountable for following it

1.Main purpose of the document is to inform the public of aboriginal culture. For the government to acknowledge that there was an issue the past with neglecting aboriginals.
