it makes us feel like we know who we are. like if we keep repeating our stories that we know who we are and that in it self gives us trust to ourselves that i know who i am and how i got here. the story showed us that no matter how small you feel you have enough power to tell somebody down. her mother obviously was vulnerable in that situation, the small lady with kids who she held dear, but she took all the strength in her to tell off the man and it worked. it shows us that if somebody out there who might be as small as you can be strong enough to fight back then you might as well be strong enough to fight back.
