  • Teacher would need to create a  different google meet/zoom link for the number of breakout rooms they want to have. 
  • Download google chrome extension "tab resize" so that it splits screen layouts (just google it 🙂
  • When teachers open up the different links, they would click on the"tab resize"extension and see their screen split evenly like below.

    The teacher can leave all rooms unmuted and give "whole class instructions"out loud and or mute all, and leave one unmuted to pop in among the groups
  • You can also download the extension "Mute tab" and mute specific groups so that you are only hearing the group you are working with. Keep in mind if you mute yourself, they don't hear you--but you STILL hear them. This is where the mute tab extension would come in handy and "mute" the students as you are working with two groups or one specific group.
