1. I came to Movie Animation Park Studios (MAPS) at 8.10 a.m.

2. The others internship student and I wait for Mr. Andrew Raj at Staff Lounge and when he came, he told us to eat breakfast at MAPS Cafe.

3. After breakfast, around 8.30 a.m., we were taken to training room by Mr.Andrew.

4. Mr. Andrew gave us a form for internship details that we need to fill up and compile with the copy of bank account number and IC.

5. We did ice-breaking session:
-which Mr. Andrew Raj introduced himself and others internship students from others university such as Universiti Utara Malaysia (Sintok), Cosmopoint College, Universiti Putra Malaysia, Universiti Teknologi Mara (Penang) and Universiti Malaysia Kelantan (our university)

6. Then, Mr. Andrew start the briefing session and he shows the slides and videos about MAPS' company. From that we got to know: 

-the background, division structure, vision and mission, culture, values, systems, rules and regulation.
-grooming, types of sexual harassment, basic knowledge on fire, types of product, types of themepark in Malaysia, types of movie and adventures characters.
-Operation hours, Facilities, Retail outlets, 6 Fun Zones, Food and Beverages outlet, Promotion and packages and Key areas of entertainment.

7. Question and Answer Session.

8. Mr. Andrew gave us ID number and our list of department. Two internship students and I had placed at Food and Beverages department. After that, we went for lunch.

9. After came from break, Mr. Andrew took us to visit and went around MAPS to see the buildings and activities provided. He took us to try Cattus Coaster, Asteroid Attack, MAPS Dark Ride and enter others zone too.

10. After that, Mr. Andrew show us the place to get uniform and how to fill the form when taking and return them. 4. I am working at Push cart outlet on my first day.

5. The push cart sold coney dawg, hot dawg, can and mineral water, kiwi and cranberry slushies and waffle.

6. Kak Dewi (supervisor) took me to Food and Beverages warehouse to collect ice cubes. Food and beverages warehouse is the place that store goods of outlets. It also supply ice cubes if the ice cubes at MAPS Diner not enough.  We brought ice caddy to place the ice cubes and then sent to the push cart. Kak Mira (Crew) told me to fill the ice cubes in the beverage box.

7. I saw how Kak Mira opened the stall and do other preparation at the push cart.

8. I cleaned around push cart by wiping the dust before customer came to buy food and beverages.

9. Kak Mira taught me how to make waffles and handle orders from customer.

10. After that, I went to Pit Stop Cafe which now was under maintainance and storage area for stock. I kept the puree and juice.

11. Around 12 p.m., I had been placed at Monkey Business Toys and Candy Shop that sold candy, beverages and some retails products.

1. After entered Tok Aba Kokotiam (that sold food and beverages made from koko), I took ice caddy and went to MAPS Diner to collect the ice cubes.

2. Kak Dewi brought me and introduced to the cast and crew of Coral Kingdom, showed me the place for story telling session (2.15 p.m. and 6.15 p.m.). She told that the placed for dine in was under Food and Beverages department while the playground was under Rides and Attractions.

3. When returned to push cart, Mr. Ashwin taught me the steps how to open the push cart and fill the ice cubes into beverages box.

4. Kak Mira showed me how to set the waffle maker.

5. After that, I went to Pit Stop Cafe and  took Cranberry Puree and Juice to make Slushies.

6. Kak Mira asked me to measure the ingredients which were water, sugar syrup, Cranberry Puree, and Juice and then she taught me to make Slushies.

7. Then Kak Mira taught me how to make waffle and measure the ingredients.

8. I helped Kak Mira at push cart, take orders from customers and make Waffle until my end of working hours.

9. I went to OCC (Security Department) and did the thumbprint.

2.Then, I went to push cart and help Kak Mira heat the waffle maker and brought waffle batter that was ready to the push cart.

3. After that, Kak Dewi took me to Coral Kingdom ( place that sold food and beverages and place that children play playground).

4. Kak Dewi told me about the equipment and services provided in Coral Kingdom.

5. Coral Kingdom sold the food such as doughnut plain, blueberry muffin, multiberry muffin, strawberry white chocolate muffin, triple chocolate muffin, combo pizza with soft drink and combo chicken nugget with fries, mushroom puff, sardine puff, BBQ chicken puff, salmon roll and firecracker.

6. For the beverages were cans, mineral water, coffee, chocolate and tea latte.

7. Kak Dewi showed me the condiment area which customer can got straw, cutleries and serviettes.

8. I went around Coral Kingdom and cleaned the dining place with SF Sanitizer and cloth, swept the floor, and throw the trash in bin.

9. I also arranged the tables and chairs that messy after customers left the place.

10. I do cleaning session until the end of my working hours and went to MAPS Diner to sign out attendance.

2. Wash eggs (ingredient of waffle).

3. Mix all waffle ingredients together and stirring until smooth.

4. Then, I became a cashier at Monkey Business. I explore the things in Monkey Business and learnt to recognize items that available in there.

5. I also learnt how to handle customers that want to rent the stroller or ECV.

6. I learnt how to fill up the form of stroller or ECV rental which needed customers detail such as name, contact number, date, IC or passport number and number of stroller.

7. Customers need to leave their driving license or insurance card or medical card as deposit. But, if still do not bring all above, customers should pay RM 50 as deposit and customer will get the deposit back when they return the stroller or ECV.

8. Next, I went to MAPS Diner and took 6 Carton of mineral water. I also went to Pit Stop Cafe to get 1 Carton can of Cincau and 1 Carton can of Soya for  Monkey Business stocks.

9. Before end of working hours, I cleaned up the popcorn equipments and popcorn maker.

10. After that, I went to Pit Stop Cafe and kept the waffle batter in the chiller.

11. Sign out attendance, return uniform and then thumb out.

FOOD AND BEVERAGES WAREHOUSE

1. Thumb in and get the uniform.

2. Go to food and beverages warehouse (cold). Abang Rizal tell me that first of all, we have to unlock all chiller and freezer. 

3. Abang Rizal tell that there are different temperature between chillers and freezers. Chillers maximum 5°C or colder and  freezers minimum -18°C or colder.

4. Then, Abang Rizal teach me how to take temperature for chillers and freezers. There is a form that need to be fulfill. I record the temperature of chillers and freezers (external and internal)  at the form  in the morning.

5. Next, I bring out vegetables from Room 8 (Vegetables) and weight them.  

6. Separate vegetables for Starship and Starport Restaurant.  

7. Put the vegetables in the buggy and Abang Alif send them to Starship and Starport Restaurant.

8. Go to warehouse again. Abang Rizal tell that there are 2 or 3 suppliers to backup supplier that cannot supply goods. 

9. Abang Alif tell that when the supplier send the goods, we have to weight again to make sure that the weight same with what we ordered.  Warehouse ordered goods that outlets need.

10. Abang Rizal and Alif also tell that when the goods arrive, we have to put tagging. (Purple color for goods that we received) and (red one for products that expired, return to supplier and for food safety assessment).

11. When cold goods arrive, we have to check temperature of the lorry. If the chicken arrive, we have to check temperature by using thermometer.

12. Check temperature after lunch and record in the form. 

13. Follow Aqhmah (internship student) to Starship to check sample that already more than 2 weeks.

14. Check temperature before going back.

15. Clean warehouse area, return the uniform and thumb out.

4. Nisa tell me that there are Inter-Trans Form for Dry item, Chemical and Frozen or Chilled item.

5. Outlet have to send form by today and the next day the goods will be send to the  requested outlet. 

6. Nisa also explain to me about Bin Card form and Stock Keeping Unit (SKU) which all item had their serial number. There are SKU 1183 at both warehouse (Dry and Cold).

7. Nisa tell that every month, Food and Beverages warehouse will count the remaining stock for the next month. At the end of month, warehouse cannot take out stock for outlet. So, outlet must send Inter-Trans Form before warehouse count the stock.

-Mr.Inderjit tell everyone to take care of cleanliness :
(i) Make sure work place tidy and clean.
(ii) Clean the dust at office window.
-He also tell that  Buggy just only to send goods not for carrying people.
- He also tell us to make sure that outlet give Pitts Caffe stock balance and Nisa will compile. 
-There are few things that important which are staff will rotate shift starting from 1st March because the park will open at 4.00 p.m. until 12.00 a.m from Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday. Wednesday park closed. While Friday, Saturday and Sunday park open from 10.00 a.m. to 10.00 p.m.
-should reduce groceries slowly from warehouse and stop to take out the pallate (without warehouse permission).
- I read the SOP about job description-warehouse crew during training SOP session. Mr.Jit remind us to take out stock that requested in inter form transfer.
-He also ask us to cooperate and doesn't matter to do all job together.
-He also remind us about accuracy which do not go wrong stuff and accept item.
-The alertness is important.
-He also discuss about safety to take care by ourself and friends.
-We also have to maintain inventory, wipe forklift, start forklift every morning and handle sensitive item such as cake, double chocolate and muffin. Avoid to neglect them and always check freezer because ice is fast to build up there.

2. My task today is food safety. Puan Farhana (Assistant Manager of food safety) ask me to follow Aqhmah (internship student).

3. I follow Aqhmah to do inspection at Food and Beverages outlets. Aqhmah explain to me how to fulfill Pest Control Form.

4. First, we want to MAPS Diner to check cleanliness, monitoring station and bait station. 

5. Then, we go to Tok Aba Kokotiam and Monkey Business .  We check cleanliness and Fly trap because there are no monitoring station or bait station there.

6. We go to Starport to check monitoring and bait station and fill up the form. Next, we take sample of kebab ayam, kebab daging, kebab kambing and laksa. We also take sample of condiment nasi ayam and nasi lemak for food safety assessment.

7. We go to Starship restaurant to check outlet and take sample of nasi beriyani, nasi tomato, nasi putih, coleslaw and mushroom soup. Then, we store the samples at freezer room in Startport Level 2. 

8. We went to Boboiboy Caveteria to take food sample of buffet set.

8. We went to La Cremeria to check outlet. Aqhmah tell me that we have to check the temperature of chiller and freezer at La Cremeria everytime  we want to do inspection. 

9. We also have to check the cleanliness of ice cream freezer and chiller. Then, check the bait station, monitoring station and check fly trap.

10. Go to warehouse office manager and key in stock count for SM Sakhti. 

11. Go to office and meet Puan Farhana. She show the example of daily report of food safety and then give the policy of food safety documents to be read. 

12. Go to presentation room and use PC to write daily report and when the working hours end, I just continue the report at home.

3. Pak Wan show me the machine that can be used to wash plate and cuttleries. The machine name Dishwashing Machine or Tank. There are two chemicals used for Dishwashing Machine : CLEAN IT (wash) and SO DRI (dryer). This machine have lower and upper arm (blast the dishes with the cleaning mixture).

4. Pak Wan show me the rack for plates and cutleries that are comes with one set of Dishwashing Machine. He tell that there are two  types of Dishwashing Machine in an industry which are Single Tank (small) and Double Tank (big). 

5. At Movie Animation Park Studios, we only have single tank type and only placed at food and beverages outlet such as MAPS Cafe, Starship, and MAPS Dinerz. By using Dishwashing Machine, it will save time, energy , more clean and reduce the breakages.

6. Pak Wan bring me to Starship Restaurant at Level 1 and show me the exhaust hood (function: device containing a mechanical fan that hangs above the stove or cooktop in the kitchen). 

7. Pak Wan also show me the Food Warmer (food for serve) and tell that there are some types of food warmer in industry which are Bain-marie, Chafing dish, Multicooker,  and so on. At MAPS, we have Bain-Marie and Chafing Dish (Fuel-Powered Chafing Dishes that use gel fuel while Induction Chafing Dishes : only heats the chafer and no open flame) 

8. Pak Wan bring me to Boboiboy Caveteria and show the cutleries and types of plates. Then, he show me the Green Room (place that store Chemicals).

9. Pak Wan also give me Breakages Form (form to be fill for breakages item). Pak Wan tell that the form have to be fill everyday (if have breakages). At MAPS, breakages box had been provided for all outlet.  After accountant declare, so we can throw the breakages. Breakages by machine is rarely found. Usually have breakages when wash by hand. If people do breakages so should write "broke by ...... " and the reason.

10. Types of item that can break :
       *Melamine
       *Glassware
       *Porcelain (fibre) 

11. Pak Wan also tell that there are Chemical Report which is about Chemical consumption. (How many we use and how many left).

12. Pak Wan remind that some chemicals are sensitive and it should be someone that expert to handle. We have two types of Chemical which are Lite and Heavy.

13. Then, we go back to Starship and Pak Wan show me the Chemical name "Proven". It can be use for oven and can also remove the dirt at stainless steel. (Not rust)

14. Pak Wan wash the floor at kitchen area and I help him by using water pusher to clean the wet surface.

2. Pak Wan give me empty stenol pot and bring me to Starship Level 1. He show me the Chemical (Heating Gel). He tell that most of the hotel and industry use stenol pot but some sophisticated place use induction cooker. 

3. I fill up the heating gel into the stenol pot, put in the box and then wrap with plastic wrapper. After finish, I go to Starship groundfloor  and then give the box to Pak Wan. Pak Wan give me another stenol pots to be fill up. I go to Starship Level 1 again and fill up the stenol pot with heating fuel. 

4. After finish, I wrap stenol pot one by one and give to Pak Wan.

5. Pak Wan tell me that GP Clean is function as multipurpose and can be use to clean the mop.

6. Pak Wan also tell that there are different cleaning area for plates and pots. If the plates not very dirty and not much, we can use Dishwashing Machine.

7. Help Pak Wan and  kitchen crews to peel the onions at kitchen area.
