         <description><![CDATA[<div><strong>When the Endeavour first reached Tierra del Fuego, Joseph and Daniel had a chance to make landfall and to investigate the local wildlife. Joseph banks had no encounter with any native people because they were in the ocean studying, but they did have a Sub-Antarctic summer is a fickle thing, and can prove fatal for the inexperienced explorer. That killed off a couple of their men.When they were exploring it appeared difficult because of the tundra proved to be a bog populated by extremely dense, waist-high trees.But they were able to find alpine plants, and  collected some new specimens. And with the specimens he found he studied them and some plants we know of today in his books about Florilegium.</strong></div><div><br></div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Joseph Banks went on my exploration, but one that he went on to Rio de Janeiro was one where he had an artist Sydney Parkinson, went and traveled with to draw all the specimens he found. and in less then 6 days he found just less than 700 specimens while traveling with sydney and a couple of his other crew members, but because he went to Rio he found an artist and he found liking in her culture </div>]]></description>
