Time spending: 15-30 mins/ day (sometimes didn't have time) = 3-5 hours/ month

Purpose

Before the formal TOEIC exam, I spent some time on review and learn new vocabulary, intending to develop my ability of using and understanding of vocabulary by the character book and related app, called "完勝大考7000單" .

Reflection

The understanding of some vocabularies really increase, however, I consider that using character book couldn't construct my memory immediately when I learn the new vocabulary. I found that when I'm talking or writing in English can best improve my understand about the vocabularies.

Already finished watching

• Season 1: 1-22 episodes (20 minutes/ episode)

• Season 2: 1-19/22 episodes (20 minutes/ episode)

  = nearly 14 hours

Introduction to the series

The story axis is about a twice-exceptional (2e) student, called Sheldon Cooper, getting into senior high school when only nine-year old. He is really smart and brilliant yet awkward when he interact with each other.

• Definition of "Twice-exceptional students" : intellectually gifted children who have one or more learning disabilities.

Thoughts and Reflection

The series is fit for me to watch when I want to relax and prove my English ability simultaneously. It shows not only the story about a smart little boy, but also the interactions within the families and peers when he is smarter then most of people obviously.

In this semester, I finished the course called "Introduction to Gifted and Talented Education", there is the chapter introduce 2e students, corresponding to the plot, I found that Sheldon is 2e student as well. Making me realize the content and detail about this kind of gifted students by the series. Later on, when I watch the series continuously, I can have deeper understanding in it.
