So I volunteered as tribute to enter the games. I knew it was risky, but it was a sacrifice I had to make for my sister. Me and my other district partner, Peeta, were a big hit before the games, but then he said something that kind of set me off. He had said, in front of hundreds of people, that he had feeling for me. This had really set me off because we barely knew each other. My coach Haymitch had a drinking problem, but he gave me very good advice to not go straight for the bow at the start of the games because it would be a bloodbath. During the games my main goal was to just hide from people and hope that I am not found. However during the games that tactic causes me many problems. People start to target me, and when I am constantly running, I get close to the border and the Capitol stop me. When the games get close to the end, that is when I really needed to fight for my life. When Peeta and I were the last two standing, the Capitol changed the rule from two winners to only one, and we were both devastated because of the connection we had made throughout the games. Our idea was to both eat poisonous berries, so neither of us would win. But one thing that did change with her was that she became more passionate in winning the games, and taking down the Capitol the more and more she realized how strong they were. This matters during the games because of the ending, where her and Peeta plan to eat poisonous berries so neither of them win, or so that they change the rule back to two winners. This will also play a big role in the upcoming movies. This change inspires people in the real world because it can really motivate people to get up and do what they want to do.
