choices - some kids need them and they are built in to plans- some kids need the direct commands- how do you differentiate

if you follow behavior expectations it helps to reduce problems 
if a certain student has been labeled bad it can cause concerns for the next grade level

safety concerns play a big part

On one hand we are not suppose to give options when we have been taught it may be better to give options, be more direct but at the same time it is crucial to build a relationship. The choices should have the same outcome. -I think kids should be allowed to make choices.
