         <title>Reflection on the role of teachers</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>The article addresses how Artificial General Intelligence (AGI) is expected to reshape not only learning environments but also the teacher’s role in a deep and lasting way. AGI, by having the potential to process large amounts of data and personalize instruction, can help students learn at their own pace and according to their own style. What impressed me so far is how AGI can give real-time feedback and support adaptive learning routes, which can make lessons more engaging and meaningful for students. It's clear that AGI is not just another tool, but a powerful resource of transformation in education. </p><p><br/></p><p><br/></p><p>I think the role of the English teacher needs to be redefined to take advantage of these changes. Instead of being the main source of knowledge, the teacher becomes a facilitator, a guide who helps students interact with intelligent systems while focusing on emotional, cultural, and communicative aspects that machines can’t fully replicate. Especially in English teaching, where context, tone, and human connection matter, the teacher must emphasize critical thinking, collaborative learning, and communication while integrating AGI tools that can support grammar, vocabulary, and reading comprehension.</p><p><br/></p><p><br/></p><p>Finally, I believe teachers should not fear AGI, but find ways to work with it. With proper training and ethical guidelines, we can use AGI to reach students who have faced challenges by traditional methods. The teacher’s human touch, our empathy, creativity, and adaptability will always be needed. AGI might help with instruction, but it is the teacher who inspires. And that, no matter the technology, is what makes the real difference.</p>]]></description>
