Why this person is a good speaker

Ellen Degeneres is an American comedian, television host, actress, writer, producer, and LGBT activist. She has her own TV show called 'The Ellen Show." She has even hosted the Oscar's 2 times. She is a perfect example of what a good speaker is. She has enough microphones to be heard, but also has them adjusted at a good volume that is not too high, but also speaks clearly enough so the microphone gets it all. She prepares for every show, and makes eye contact with the whole audience, and is also aware of the response of the audience. Ellen spent weeks preparing for this huge event, and nailed it.

In January 200, sports journalist John Feinstein delivered a speech titled “Sports in the New Millennium.” He stressed that professional athletes had a “social obligation” to stay in school before they turned pro, and also, Feinstein said, that they needed to be effective speakers. Do you agree? Why would Feinstein stress the need for athletes to be effective speakers?

From all the speeches I heard from professional athletes, most of them are all motivational. Their speeches motivate the audience and their team to continue ruting for the team. Schools require the students to have a certain GPA, to be able to participate in the school sports. Which means that the athletes education still matters.

Both speeches were really professionally delivered, and were also heart touching. George's speech started off single and tried to get the attention of the audience by making some small jokes. He was very informative towards the end when he was telling the audience about the man that his father was and how he greatly represented the country.
Meanwhile Opera's speech was delivered as persuasive and influential o let women know that things will be okay. She was louder on some words more than other's to get an idea across the audience. Her eye contact was great, looking all around the audience too.

I think that body language affects you while giving a presentation, because that is something that the audience will look at and it may or may not highly affect them, but it will affect the person giving the presentation. Every culture had their own sign language, which is part of their culture. And every culture is unique in their own ways, which is what makes them different from all the other ones.

Tip 1, 11, and 12 are definitely always told and advised to everyone whos presented. But I think that the main one is number 1, since it is something that everyone should always do no matter if it's a speech or a presentation. Many people can improve on number 7 since it is not always easy to stand very still, many may make small movements as in swinging their feet or playing with their hair.

Presidents are always seen commonly seen as great speakers. They inform, persuade, say many things in their speeches, that the whole world hears. The videos played in class, show the audience things that Donald Trump does in his speeches that show how he is different from other government speakers. Many of does things involve his language, his postures, his hand gestures, and even the way he breathes. During certain interviews, as mentioned in one of th videos, he is asked a question, and little to know that he does not address the question, but leaves the questions hanging, and tries to move around the question to an unnecessary topic that was not asked. The thing that was more noticed while he was trying to "answer" the question, was that he did completely finish a sentence he was saying. The videos that we watched pointed out many things that were not done professionally as the president that he is, which are also things that many people in the audience may notice, which may give them different doubts about him in general. Something that was mentioned in one of the other videos, was Donald Trump's hand gestures that he uses when he is giving a speech. In every single speech that he has given to the public or shown to an audience, they all see the same hand gestures that he uses. Many say that is it a great way to stay in track with whatever his point is in his speech, others argue that is it unnecessary and distracting, and also not formal. Presidents are also seen to have professional hand gestures, practice speeches, and also have a calm and straight posture, which in Donald occasion, is not always true. Also to mention the way he talks, he tries to smooth out words in his speech, but not always comes out right. He may sometimes sound like he breaths right into the microphone, which results in the whole public to hear.
