The song that I chose, Sun by Sleeping At Last, has very distinct layers within it, it is mostly vocals, piano, and some form of bass line whether its drums or an actual bass guitar. I chose a variety of cool toned colors for this project because I associate those kinds of colors with music that flows and is very legato, which this song is, going along with the legato aspect i chose to make my project three different pieces that flowed together to mirror the long connected notes. Lastly i chose dancers to be the main focus because the song tells a pretty immense story that i also imagine being told through dance.
