I may have always had a flair for the dramatics, but it wasn't until junior year of high school that I found out theatre was something you could actually do! I loved bringing a story to life with my classmates, and learning how to work with others to create something magical! Since then I have been in 8 productions, and assisted putting on many more!

Improvising teaching - or rather teaching improvising!

On my path to become a teacher, I've worked many places, from restaurants to theme parks. At each place, I ended up training and leading teams. Now, I work in the Education Department at TheatreSquared! Summer camps are full of improv, comedy, singing, and playwriting! My team was so supportive of my efforts to get to school that they helped me work out a schedule to enroll at the UofA! I'm now driving full-speed ahead in the Drama Education Program for a Bachelor of Arts in Teaching!

Outside the classrooms

When I'm not teaching or studying, I can be found either at home with a good novel, or thousands of miles away from home, doing anything but relaxing! I love traveling to new places with my two sisters, who are my biggest supporters and my best friends. My latest excursion took us to Alaska to see so much wildlife! My favorite animal sighting was seeing a black bear sunbathing on a hillside.
