Red, white, and blue: Even though this day is incredibly casual, there’s an important dress code almost everyone complies. You’re practically required to wear red, white, and blue! The colors represent their national values and are also the national colors. The red is for hardiness and valor. The white represents purity and innocence. The blue is for vigilance, perseverance, and justice.

Fireworks: No Independence Day is complete without a huge fireworks display. Just about every county hosts a fireworks show. 

Friends and loved ones :Another important holiday tradition is spending time with people you care about.

Barbecues: Whether they are shared with family, friends or neighbors, backyard barbecues and block parties are a perfect way to celebrate independence.

Outdoor concerts and performing arts: Most cities host concerts or performances in the park. Concerts are great to spend the day.
Go to a Parade: Another tradition is going to a parade, most of the people like going there.

Sometimes, homecoming consists of a week of events, including a pep rally, parade, and a big football game, typically a match-up against your school’s rivals. (TBH, if you’re not a huge sports fan, it may be the only football game you’ll go to all year.) Among the festivities, a homecoming court is often crowned, with the nominations of homecoming kings, queens, princes, and princesses.

Finally, homecoming can be a lot more casual than prom. While some schools go all out and throw prom at an event space off-campus, homecoming is usually held in the school’s gym. The dresses are usually short and the suits are more chill.

This situation caused thousands of people to migrate to the North American country in search of a better life, and that population also took that tradition with them.    

How to celebrate: The 'Halloween night' is celebrated every October 31st. Where it is celebrated the most is in the United States, where preparations begin months before. Candies, pumpkins, haunted houses, costume parties...

The whole city dresses in orange to celebrate the festival. Streets, houses, shops... are covered with pumpkins, ghosts and cobwebs to receive the most terrifying night of the year.

In the United States, it is traditional to carve pumpkins by hand. In schools, children take a pumpkin and carve scary faces on it. Then in the center they light a candle.

Pumpkins are the most representative Halloween decoration in the USA. But there are many other decorations that have earned the title of "must have", such as paper bats, fake spider webs or witch silhouettes.  

Traditions for prom:

Some of the highlights are the Bow Bridge and the Loeb Boathouse, where you can rent small boats or gondola rides. Alice in Wonderland. The Alice In Wonderland statue is perhaps the most famous in all of Central Park. Lewis Caroll's characters have greeted tourists since 1959, and it also has a zoo with various species such as lions.
