As I reflect back on my teaching experience when I first started teaching kindergarten I did not incorporate any technology at all. I was very reluctant at first since I was not very tech savvy compared to my younger peers. I reflect back and see how much I have grown with the support from district training, staff meeting with our coach, working with our digital coach and the unlimited help from my team members. After taking the courses in the Masters Program I am now ready to take my knowledge and the research behind it and mentor another teacher at our site that is an Early Adopter. In the article Put me in, coach! I’m ready to teach with technology, by Les Folos gave me great starting questions to use for my coach project as I meet with my mentee and start up a conversation about their needs and what they want to be able to accomplish with technology and the students.
