So in San Antonio, TX the latitude is 29.4 North. Being this latitude its very close to Houston, TX, and El Paso, TX in latitude. This is a low latitude for the U.S.A.. But when you compare it to the equator (where it's the hottest) you see it's pretty north in latitude. For comparison the equator from San Antonio, TX is 2,033.65 mi (or 3,272.84 km) away. Then again this is low for the U.S.A.
