Although I don’t think her actual personality changed a ton the way she had to show herself to the crowd did. She acted like she was in love with Peeta and kissed him a lot to gain sponsors. At the end of the novel though she actually starts to believe Peeta actually loves her and she doesn’t mind kissing him at all, she actually enjoys it. Which is a big change from the beginning of the novel where she thinks Peeta is out to get her. The change she has is definitely because of the games. It is a thrilling novel that has a well thought out plot and is very suspenseful throughout because Katniss is constantly put in bad situations. From volunteering as tribute for her sister to being stuck up in a tree surrounded by other tributes. It’s not really like any other book I’ve read before and that’s something I liked about it. I also enjoyed the characters in the novel. How was it so easy for her to just volunteer her life away into a game full of fear. Also I’d like to know why hasn’t the districts rebelled if everything is so bad. Also how does having the Hunger Games provide any benefit to the Capitol. If anything I believe it will make people more likely to rebel.
