my firs travel post : The National Monument, commonly known as Monas, is an iconic landmark of Jakarta and a symbol of Indonesia’s struggle for independence. The monument was initiated by President Soekarno in 1961 and inaugurated in 1975 by President Soeharto. Standing 132 meters tall, Monas is crowned with a flame coated in 50 kilograms of gold, symbolizing the undying spirit of the Indonesian people in their fight for freedom.

More than just a landmark, Monas also serves as an educational site. Inside, visitors can explore the history museum featuring dioramas of the nation’s struggle, the Hall of Independence that houses the original Proclamation manuscript, and an observation deck at the top offering panoramic views of Jakarta. Today, Monas remains one of the most visited historical attractions in Indonesia and a proud national symbol.

Mau saya buatkan versi lebih sederhana dengan bahasa Inggris dasar biar cocok untuk tugas sekolah menengah?

For my second Travelpost, this holiday was very memorable because I had the chance to visit one of the most famous monuments in Indonesia. On April 17, 2024, I had the opportunity to visit the National Monument (Monas) in Jakarta. When I arrived, I felt very proud to see the country’s iconic landmark that I had previously only known from books and television. Monas stood tall and majestic, with its golden flame shining brightly under the sunlight.

Inside Monas, I explored the history museum that displays dioramas of Indonesia’s struggle for independence. I also visited the Hall of Independence, which keeps the original Proclamation manuscript. The most exciting part was going up to the top of Monas, where I enjoyed the panoramic view of Jakarta. It was an unforgettable experience that made me love Indonesia even more.

For my Final Travelpost, I want to improve my first paragraph about the National Monument (Monas) and combine it with my personal experience from my second Travelpost. Monas is the symbol of Indonesia’s struggle for independence and the most iconic landmark in Jakarta. Standing 132 meters tall, its golden flame represents the spirit of freedom that will never fade.

When I visited Monas on April 17, 2024, I felt so proud to see this historic monument in person.

For my second travel-post about how my place help many people live a healthy lifestyle Jakarta, as a big city, is now trying to help its citizens live a healthy lifestyle. One example is the availability of many public green spaces, such as Suropati Park

and Gelora Bung Karno, where people can exercise. The government also builds bicycle lanes and holds a car free day every Sunday so that people can enjoy outdoor activities without traffic pollution. In addition, there are more fitness centers, running communities, and markets that sell organic food. I think all of these show that Jakarta supports its citizens to live healthier even in the middle of a busy metropolitan city.

I believe the future of space exploration will be more advanced and exciting than ever before. Scientists might develop faster spacecraft that allow humans to travel deeper into the solar system, and we may even see permanent bases built on the Moon or Mars where astronauts can live and work. Space tourism will also become more common, giving ordinary people the chance to experience weightlessness and see Earth from space. With new telescopes and robotic missions, researchers will be able to study distant planets, discover new worlds that might support life, and learn more about how the universe began. Overall, future space exploration will not only expand our knowledge but also change the way humans live and travel.

I think future technology will change every part of our lives in amazing ways. Scientists might be able to cure major diseases like cancer using advanced medical tools and genetic technology. Cities could use cleaner and smarter energy systems by combining solar power, wind power, and other renewable sources to create a sustainable environment. In transportation, we might see flying cars, driverless vehicles, and high-speed trains that connect countries in just minutes. Technology will also transform agriculture by helping farmers produce more food with less land and water, ensuring enough food for a growing population. In work and education, people may be able to do their jobs or attend classes from anywhere in the world through virtual reality and ultra-fast internet. Overall, technology will make life more efficient, healthier, and more connected.

As I think about both space exploration and future technology, I believe our world will become more connected and more advanced than ever before. In the near future, humans will be able to travel deeper into space, explore new planets, and even build colonies on Mars as technology improves. Scientists will be able to develop smarter tools that help us understand the universe better, while advanced machines on Earth are able to make our daily lives easier and more efficient. New innovations in energy, transportation, and communication mean people will be able to work, study, and interact from anywhere in the world. With stronger collaboration between space science and modern technology, we will be able to solve many global problems and create opportunities that were impossible before. Overall, the future will be shaped by how far we are able to imagine and how much we are willing to explore.

When I think about Jakarta, I can see how much the city has changed since I was little. At that time, Jakarta felt less crowded, with fewer tall buildings and more open spaces like small parks and traditional markets. Over the years, the city has become much more modern, with new skyscrapers, shopping malls, and better public transportation such as the MRT, which did not exist during my childhood. Although the traffic has become heavier and the city is always busy, these changes show how fast Jakarta continues to grow, and they make me appreciate how different it is compared to the Jakarta I knew when I was younger.

As I look back on my life, I realize that many things have changed as I grew older. When I was younger, I used to spend most of my time playing outside and not worrying about anything, but now I have more responsibilities, such as studying, planning for my future, and managing my daily routines. I also feel that I have become more confident and independent compared to when I was a child. My hobbies have changed too; I now enjoy learning new skills and exploring new interests instead of just playing games all day. These changes make me understand how much I have grown and how different my life is compared to the past.

For my Final Travelpost, I looked back at both my memories of Jakarta and the changes in my own life, and I tried to express them more clearly. Jakarta has grown so fast from the city I knew when I was little, with new buildings, better transportation, and a busier lifestyle, while at the same time I have also changed by becoming more responsible, independent, and focused on my personal goals. As the city keeps developing, I feel that I am also growing with it, learning new things, and adapting to new challenges. Improving my work from the earlier travelposts helps me see how both my hometown and I have transformed over the years, and it makes me appreciate the journey that has shaped who I am today.

After reviewing my previous posts, I realized that Jakarta’s city parks are not only peaceful places to escape the city noise but also important spaces in facing climate change. The cool shade from the trees and the calm atmosphere show how valuable green areas are as temperatures in the city continue to rise. At the same time, the more frequent floods and unpredictable weather make me aware that Jakarta needs stronger environmental planning. By improving and protecting its parks, the city can create cooler, safer, and healthier spaces for everyone.

In recent years, I have seen how climate change affects Jakarta, especially through hotter days and more unpredictable rain. Floods happen more often, and the rising temperatures make outdoor spaces, including city parks, feel warmer than before. These changes remind me that the city needs more green areas and better environmental planning to help reduce heat and manage heavy rainfall.

Unilever is a large company that sells daily products such as food and personal care items. The company helps the environment by reducing plastic waste and using sustainable materials. Unilever also supports the community by creating jobs and running social programs. This shows that businesses can help make cities more sustainable.
