This is my pic - on the whole everything looks good the sun is shining and everyone is happy. But if you look under the surface, you can see there is a hole in the boat (where water can get in and can consume the boat) to me this is Sam masking and many people take a quick look or ask a bland Q and are happy enough with what they see/hear. What Sam really needs is someone who takes a closer look, understanding Sam needs help and just like a person on the boat (their support system) they have a plug to prevent the water getting in all they need to do is take a deeper look and they can see the tools are waiting on them to make the difference they just need to notice it.
