We need to consider non-technical people. While not all activities can be accessible to all people, inclusiveness is important in citizen science. So we should be aware of the risk of (unintentionally) creating two groups: technical citizen scientists and non-technical citizen scientists.

When we have tried bioblitz have sometimes added the data later but not so good as it takes a lot of time for the organisers. ideally add data in the moment.
also consider internet coverage, used to be a problem but now so much better 4G.
Many of the users may be older and not familiar with the tech so can take photos but uploading and filling in forms needs more help. Even though they may be willing to help with identification on a normal computer.
Even just the signup process can be the most stressful part (as curator by far my biggest number of issues per day are to do with signup).
would it be possible to have access to all the other projects so we can advertise them to the people on iSpot. I suspect most people on iSpot are not in the very high pollution areas although there is both air and water pollution near where I live so I would be interested!

Consider the local cultural modes of living of the communities: schedule, gener power, language, for designing the activities.
