         <title>Ven Diagram Movement Activity</title>

This can be used for science if the students are separating living things from non living things. One side of the diagram represents living and the other represents non living. The middle space could be a space for students to but items that they are unsure of or want to save for the end. They could then revisit the middle ones and further discuss with one another or the teacher.          <description><![CDATA[<div><a href="https://www.pinterest.com/pin/87468417741504159/">https://www.pinterest.com/pin/87468417741504159/</a><br><br>This activity would be for younger students, but is beneficial for them to learn about different kinds of bugs and the adjectives that they do. As the students draw a card they get to read what kind of movement the bugs make. The students then are told what movement or sound to make based on what the card says. They can assemble PVC pipes into a certain design and then they can play the pipes and hear the different pitches that they make. This is a great way for the students to be curious as to why the pipes make different sounds when struck. This is a great activity to do with students. Whatever the topic may be, challenge students to make up lyrics to a song and then the teacher can put music to it. Spending time to dissect is a great way for students to have control over their learning. Many items could be selected to dissect. Anything that fits into the scope of your standards. This magnet activity allows them to make hypotheses and then test out the object with a magnet to see if it sticks or not. This is a way for students to be invested in their learning, because if they make hypotheses then they will want to see if they were correct or not. Clues could be placed around the room and students could learn about what specific evidence crime scene investigators look for when trying to figure out exactly what happened. Students could get to investigate in their group and then make an assumption as to what happened based on their findings.
