In week 4, our tutor was emphasizing on the process of creating the creative brief. In my own opinion, I personally think that this is a great opportunity for us to think outside the box by creating a brief based on knowledge and skills. Besides, I also did some research on the Internet to enhance my skills as I need some references for me to refer and I hope that I can learn something new from that source. Based on the information on the Internet, I wrote down some notes and created a draft for further use in my assignment. This is an effective way in learning new things by doing some research from different sources.

Week 5

In week 5, our tutor continues to provide guidance and giving a short brief on our assignment. It leads to a sense of confidence after listening to the guidelines as I need some examples for me to look at for further understanding. At this point, it increases my understanding on what should we do in our assignments. It was appreciated that I met a responsible and friendly tutor in this subject. Besides, our tutor also assigns a task for us which is grouping for Asssignment 2. At this point, I was quite nervous as I do not have any friends in this subject, but I was able to find a group later on.

Week 6

In week 6, our tutor started to teach us about the process of creating the creative print ads. She highlighted the important key elements that should be implemented in the print ads for instance the colors, sizes and the patterns. It also includes copywriting, tagline and headline. Before briefing, I personally think that my copywriting and design skills was poor, but I learned to implement some strategies when creating a print ad. It leads to a clearer picture on the overall process when creating an interesting and attractive print ad. In addition, we need to be more creative when providing ideas in our print ad to attract the audiences as everyone loves colourful print ad.

Week 7

In week 7, I did halfway of my Assignment 1 by creating some drafts for the print ad and profile deck. It is confusing to me as I am worrying about my final outcome which it might not approved by our tutor. I did some research on other's brand print ad and it leads to some ideas on designing the print ad. By doing drafts work, I slowly identify the key elements that should be implemented in the design part for instance brighter colour to be used and the tone of the message need to be more convincing through call-to-action strategy. In addition, I search for some related images that linked with my chosen brand that can be used in my designing part. Therefore, I also did my final deliverables but still pending for some improvement as I need to seek some suggestions from my tutor in this week.

Week 8

Week 8 is near to our assignment 1 due date as I am quite anxious to my work as I think that I have put in a lot of effort in the design part, copywriting part and everything. To be honest, I think that I learned to be more creative as I used to be lacking ideas when dealing with this subject. After researching from the Internet and seeking help from our tutor, it leads to optimistic side for me in the overall progress. Besides, I would like to bring along my knowledge that learnt in this subject to my future studies. It leads to increase my self-confidence as I have owned a business of event planner as I believe that copywriting skills could be extremely useful in this case. In week 8, I was grateful and appreciate that I met a really nice tutor in my university life who is Nur Syahidatul Idany Abdul Ghani as she brings happiness to the class every time.
