We have chosen the toaster. It is a small kitchen appliance which is used to toast bread in the morning or any time you wish having a toast.

(if you don't have one in your kitchen. Shame on you. GO BUY ONE!)

The first toaster was invented in Scotland in 1893. It was made by Alan McMasters in Edinburgh, Scottland. The early tries of makin an elevtrical toaster out of metal wires. Because they melted and everything started burning.

1905, Albert Mars made a mix between nickel and chrome. The mixture between chrome and nickel fixed the burning prolbem. You could now make a toaster that actually wors.

The most common toasters for home use are typically the pop-up- and toaster ovens. The pop-up toaster are better then the toaster oven for making evenly toasted bread.

When you give the toaster power (electricity), the heating elements become glowing hot (red colored). In order to not burn your bread, there is a timer to know when the bread is "finished" (toasted). If you feel like you're frying your fingers while holding the bread inside of the toaster, you should change the ejector switch. Cause it doesnt do its job (aka buy a new toaster). ( 100kr at siba).
