With her father leaving her at 6 years old, to having her name be temporarily changed. When the war started Audrey's mother "Ella" had the idea to change her name to Edda. The reason behind this name was because they thought the name "Audrey" would indicate her British roots to strongly. &nbsp;<br><br>Quote:&nbsp;<br>"My grandmother temporarily changed my mother's name from Audrey to Edda during the war, feeling that "Audrey" might indicate her British roots too strongly" (XV). </div>]]></description>

If you don't know what a fascist is, it's&nbsp; the Nazi government that ruled under Adolf Hitler between 1933 and 1245. Despite this Audrey was actually helping the resistance. It was Audrey's first husband Ferrer that help the reunion, he tracked him down through the red cross and found he lived in Ireland. Despite this reunion, Audrey still felt a disconnected.          <description><![CDATA[<div>Through her film acting career, Audrey landing some awards in her hands. Although she had many awards given to her, here are some of the many. In 1954 Audrey won an Oscar for Roman Holiday, from the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences. Still in the same year she filmed Ondine with her then husband Ferrer, which she later won the Tony Award for it.&nbsp; In 1968, Audrey won Special Tony Award. And in 1959 she won the New York Film Critics Circle Award.&nbsp;<br><br>Quote:&nbsp;<br>"This was their first play together; she won the Tony Award for it, int he same year she got the Oscar For Roman Holiday" (64). </div>]]></description>

For her it was a very easy decision, because she missed her children. When her older son started going to school, she could no longer take him with her to her films, which was very tough for her. Because of this she stopped accepting pictures. She soon said it was the best choice she could've made.</div>]]></description>

Her dream was to become a mother of herself. through the dread of the loses of her miscarriages she managed she give birth to two children, whom she most loved. Despite her divorces between both children's fathers she made sure to continue to enjoy a complete relationship with both.          <description><![CDATA[<div>The UNICEF stands for United Nations Children's Fund. Audrey's contract with the UNICEF sated back to April 15, of 1988. Many people warned Audrey of the hardship this would bring, with he extent of the suffering, death, and despair there would be. Despite this she decided to keep going, she soon realized that it was true, but she saw the light in things. She witnessed how much is being done to help and how just a small amount of aid can assist in treating the sick, irrigating the land, and planting new crops. </div>]]></description>

The doctors in Las Angeles put her through another battery of tests, yet all tests came back inconclusive. They advised that an investigative laparoscopy was in order. After the surgery they where informed they had found abdominal cancer, which has spread from her appendix.<br><br>Quote:<br>"After two hours, the surgeon came out to the waiting room and told us that they had found abdominal cancer that had spread from her appendix" (147). &nbsp;</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Audrey was never the one to let out her emotions in front of people, especially her children. Despite her efforts to stay strong she couldn't. She couldn't resists crying out for help.She turned around to her son Sean (who at the time was helping her get dressed for surgery) and let out a cry. She told him how scared and terrified she was of that day. Sean had to stay strong for his mother, for his mother had stayed strong for him. He was their holding all her weight, as though it felt huge chunks of him where falling apart.&nbsp;<br><br>Quote:&nbsp;<br><br>" I stood there, holding her with all my might, as I felt huge chunks of me falling inside" (149). </div>]]></description>

When she was little during WWI, Audrey was one of those children. This cancer spread rapidly throughout Audrey's body, soon causing her death. Despite this, Audrey lived a wonderful and unforgettable life.  </div>]]></description>

The UNICEF spoke on behalf of and with children to support their rights. They ensured their safety, health, and provide safe and inclusive communities. The things that Audrey did throughout her life opened people's hearts and eyes to really see the bigger picture and what is really going on around the world. She also served as a really good film actress and model. She appeared in many roles, some in which she was the lead. She has inspired people of all ages young and old.  </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Audrey's funeral was held in Switzerland. As they where carrying her coffin to her grave, her son Sean asked for help. He wanted all the paparazzi to leave. There was paparazzi all overhead that day of her funeral. He asked if there was any possible way to make them leave. Little did he know he had an angle watching from above. There was a no-fly zone between the hours of 10 am and 4 pm. They had a peaceful day, and clear blue skies. </div>]]></description>
