I think it's unfortunate how, graphic art and design evolved so much over the years, just to find out, that we are back to where we first started. So you mean to tell me, "Design evolved, just to de-evolve?" I feel there is so much more we can do, we have the materials to do so, it's just the lack of motivation that keeps us bound from using Graphic Design to it's full potential.

1) The printing press changed how everything is sent now a days. The evolution of it helped show how typing and writing is used now to share and tell information. It helped share information and communicate quicker in stead of taking extensive amounts of time to press a message together.

2) The digital revolution helped shape how we see and visualize images and designs now. Now we see colorful images all over the help lure in people to help with business and the effectiveness of these colorful images.

I think its interesting how over the years more inventions were created to make more and more advanced. Like the printing press/ woodblock print which allowed intricate details in mass production. The printing press especially changes communication by allowing multiple copies of messages to be sent out to many people.

The printing press changed how we communicated by making things like books, signs, and other such things much easier to copy down onto multiple sheets of paper therefore making it much more accessible. Going digital made it so much easier to design things with all the programs and tools we have today, but at the same time it also made us so much more bland and boring.

The Renaissance how the rebirth of humanity came from a bunch of books. it changed lots of things but most about how they could print more books, and the art work produced would be increased because you didn't need to start from scratch to produce of the artist product. it making art on a peice of paper a second option and made it have more funtions on it

A question that remains unanswered is what is to come in graphic design? Will our designs become more detailed or simpler? How will our ideas be shown in the future?

I think, from the "de-evolve" standpoint, we will eventually "evolve" again, and our designs will have more detail and deeper meaning. Though where we're at right now, we've "ended" where we began.

Printing press changed communication by making communication a lot more direct, and if anything easier. Not only that, but there was always a little creativity there. Varieties of font and designs used to convey a certain message.

The digital revolution, i personally believe, is almost like a threat to that creativity. The design aspect is there, but things like AI could so easily take over that, and therefor there would be no progress because nothing new, created by the human mind, is being made. maybe im too woke, I dont know.

I like how the roots of graphic design started with cave paintings on the walls and evolves further, I really like that whole concept. Also How one new thing that comes along effects many others. for example, 1990 digital interfaces, design softwares. Just from that, everything is like a big tidle wave, us humans get tons of ideas just from that one idea. I'd say all of that evolution helped, but also somewhat of a down fall since of AI, which is making art lose it's meaning and the concept of thoughts, emotions, and hard work of a person.

The printing press allowed art, but mainly books, to be shared more and be mass-produced basically, as you could keep printing the pages and make more books.

it blurs out the back and focuses on the main part
