From the video, I noticed that there is a man using the self-checkout kiosk to pay for the groceries that he had bought for himself and placed the items into plastic bags.

Some of the difficulties when using the self-checkout kiosk is that some people with disabilities would sometimes find it difficult to use the self-checkout kiosk, as they would not be able to press the buttons due to there physical disabilities and would need assistance to place the items into the plastic bags. Based on my personal experience, I believe that sometimes the self-checkout kiosk would sometimes malfunction and I would be unable to find any assistance to help me and would be unable to pay for the groceries.

Firstly, it might cause an increase in shop-lifting as they is not much people to check that the items are paid for. Some people might just stroll pass these counters without paying for it and no one would notice. Shops with self-checkout would have a higher chance to get robbed without the proper security measures.

In addition, the elderly might struggle to operate the machines as they might be unsure on using the machine and they would need to be taught on using the machine by the staff so that they would know how to use the counters properly.

Lastly, long lines may occur as some people might take their time to use the counters and would be time-consuming.

In conclusion, these are some of the difficulties of using these types of countries in paying for their stuff in supermarkets.

The process of making coffee is enjoyable as you get to whiff the aroma of the alluring smell and it hits the back of your nose, you will feel a sense of coffee high and makes you ascend to heaven. The scent of the coffee smells can allow you to remember the old smell of coffee from your grandfather’s beaker. The activities also allows you to learn how to make coffee,in the video there is a women pouring hot water into a funnel and the funnel has a filter paper with the coffee powder inside, when the hot water touches the filter paper it allows the hot water and the coffee powder to mix together and pass through the filter paper and into the beaker.

Other perspectives like children, they would not enjoy these activity as they would find it boring and would rather stay at home to play mobile games or watch television.Children do not savour coffee as the taste is too bitter for them to handle and coffee is not good for children as coffee contains substances that allow you not to sleep easily, these would cause the children to be hyperactive and it will be hard for the parents to handle them.

Some other related things are like farmers who harvest coffee beans,it takes a lot of time for them to grow and harvest the beans and they take a lot of hard work and dedication. But once they harvest the fresh elegant coffee beans , they will enjoy the sense of accomplishment and satisfaction when people buy their coffee beans.

In conclusion I would like to participate in the activity as it is interesting and i can learn new skills that i never learn before.

I can see from the video that it shows a group of people paddling across the sea in an inflatable boat. One benefit I can see from the activity shown in the video is teamwork. During my personal experience in Secondary 3, I participated in the OBS camp where I undertook a similar water activity which was paddling in an inflatable boat. We were required to paddle long distances in groups of 8 and we had to undergo treacherous conditions and we had to work together in a group to complete the task together. Another benefit in taking part in this type of activity is bonding with your group members. For instance, doing this activity and working with groups with other strangers can help strengthen and form communions and improve communication skills. In the perspective of the instructor that is teaching us how to do this kind of activity, they want us to cooperate well harmoniously with each other to complete the task together. One different benefit I could extend to is the benefit of learning a new skill for other uses. Learning new skill can benefit as you can have more experience and knowledge of the waters and you can use it for other water activities such as kayaking or dragon boating. In a nut shell, I see this water activity in the video as a benefit to us as it can improve teamwork and bonding and also gain new experience and knowledge about the sea by doing this physical activity .

In the video, there is a group of people on the raft going through a ferocious current with rocks beside them. They were paddling through the extreme complicated course. I think the benefits are, it helps to strengthen the teamwork among the people you do not know, it also helps with communication and lastly it offers physical health benefits.

Firstly, it helps strengthen the teamwork among the people you do not know because in the video, paddling through the waters need teamwork in order for the team to move out of the strong current of water. Additionally. Without teamwork, the things that we put in together, even when one puts all the effort he or she has, it does not help with the team as a team is a group and not a personal effort. Personally, i have attended a similar activity at outward bound Singapore, doing kayaking. This sports require teamwork in order for the movements of the raft. At the start, my team and i did not really have any much teamwork and do not know each other well until we communicate with each other, which brings me to my next point, communication. I have learnt that teamwork is really important to acquire the accomplishment of the task you are doing.

In the video, there is a group of people on the raft going through a fierce current with rocks beside them. While paddling through the harsh conditions in the water, team members need to communicate with each other to accomplish that task that we are given by the end of the journey. To add on, without communication the group will fall apart as people would have different perspectives and want to do it their way and would also not communicate well which will lead to downfall and arguments.

Lastly, while on the raft, it will strengthen your muscle in your body due to the paddling through the extreme wave in the river and better blood flow though your blood. This can also keep your body healthy due to the scorching sun, it gives you sufficient vitamin D into you body. Moreover, this will help burn excessive fats from you and your teammates, keeping you fit and strong. This is because the body will burn the excess fats due to exchanging huge amount of energy from paddling on the raft throughout the journey.

To conclude, i think that going out and play these activities has benefits. Such as the teamwork that is put in, as well as the communication in between the teammates. It would also helps with the physical health.

From the video, I could see a barista pouring and brewing coffee. From my personal experience, I have yet to try brewing coffee nor have I drank coffee before. Although, I have never tried this before, I would gladly give it a try after watching the video of the barista brewing it since it seems rather calming which may beneficial to me who stresses over my studies quite a lot since it may work as a coping and healing mechanism to help cope with my personal life and issues. From the barista’s point of view, they are free to express themselves through their work which can help expand their creativity and skill set. From another perspective such as the consumer’s, the customer many be intrigued with the work of Barista and they may even take up this hobby if they find particular joy in this type of activity such as Coffee Art or brewing. Some related activities could be drawing, painting and singing which allows one express themselves are also great choices of hobbies as it helps motivate creativity and even earn a living out of this hobbies if you want to take it to the next level. In summary, hobbies can act as a coping mechanism and even help to motivate others to take up the hobby as well through observing others doing it whilst also allowing one to express themselves and foster creativity in their daily life. With this, I would like to end this with a quote by Vincent Van Gogh saying “If you hear a voice saying ‘You cannot paint’ then by all means paint, that voice will be silenced”

Coffee making is an well-known hobby across the globe due to the numerous amount of benefits that comes along with it. Firstly, it equips us with a new skill that many baristas go out of their way to master. This way we get to gain a broader perspective about coffee making and all the requirements that are needed to produce the perfect cup of coffee. For example, we learn to make coffee art turn out pretty while at the same time gaining a sense of satisfaction after we successfully made it. Furthermore as for making the coffee itself it comes with a very calm environment that can allow us to escape from either our stressful work environment or school environment. It also part of our self development as it equips us with a new skill that we can develop in our free time without going out of our way to separately learn a new skill.

The benefit for Other perspective like the barista will gain knowledge, skill and make coffee art turn out pretty and the smell of coffee is pure and satisfying to make. This is because they will understand different kind of coffee smell and understand the different ways of coffee making. In addition, my mother is a regular caffeine consumer and i often hear her talk about how caffeine makes her feel more fresh and energetic throughout her day.

Others that are similar to coffee making will be tea making. Unlike coffee making where you grind the coffee beans into power following up on pouring of hot water, tea making requires a tea bag and you would have to place the tea bag into a cup then adding hot water into it. The herbs inside the tea bag would dissolve with the hot water and the colour of the tea would change following up with the aroma of the smell.

I can conclude that coffee making is enjoyable due to the fact that we can escape from our stressful lives and it’s a coping mechanism.

In the video i can see that a women is preparing coffee with a natural and a time consuming method.it looks like it is quite troublesome to prepare coffee compared to modern equipments like the coffee machine which produces coffee with almost negligible effort
in just a press of a button. Personally, i have experienced such a method in the rural parts of India where i used the same technique. It was quite time consuming and required patience and precision to get the right amount and time to add ingredients to the right temperature to get a strong aroma and mouthwatering taste of natural coffee through this method.i also realized that it requires time to master this particular skill to accomplish and ultimately obtain good quality coffee. From other perspectives, it is beneficial to elderly people nowadays as it is a type of hobby to prepare coffee during their free time as they are mostly retired and have ample time to spend in their hands. This passion of making coffee can also benefit their job acceptance chances as the individual will have experience in making coffee which can lead to gobs which require these types of skills . In conclusion, the benefits of this coffee making is that it is a unique and a pulchritudinous skill to learn ,a way to spend free time and which can possibly earn a job.

in the video i can see that a bunch of people on a inflatable boat doing water rafting and they look like they are very experience as they can control the boat and steer the boat without it flipping without any experience i think that they will flip over. personally i would benefit from getting fitter and stronger and having teamwork with my teammate as from the sport in the video you need alot of teamwork to steer the boat and prevent the boat from flipping. from my own experience i am in a sports co-curricular activities and i feel that every sports need teamwork to achieve greater heights this is because im in floorball and i feel that during game we need to have communication between each other in order for the team to win as for badminton there is double and there must have teamwork and chemistry between both of them. from another perspective of the parent they might think sports is very dangerous and there is a chance you might die or get injured from doing water rafting so they will be very worried when their kids is doing it and another perspective from a nerd is that sports is boring as they can spend their time on other things such as studying as they have different hobbies and will not take the risk of dying at such a young age. Those who take part in these dangerous sports might be braver and will likely to take more risk in the future and become a dare devil and could use these skills to help them conquer life and live longer as they excerise a-lot and if very fit. Some other sport activities such as skydiving and bungee jumping requires people to be calm and collected to prevent and risks from happening. These activities have major risks and considered dangerous and might encourage people to take the risks to enjoy themselves. These factors will enable them to become risks takers and will not be afraid of taking risks in the future.

In the video, we can see people struggling to overcome the forces of the waters. I feel that there would be many varying benefits such as an improvement of brain function, ability to perform everyday activities, increase in stamina as well as happiness. In one of my personal experiences, i feel that the Outward Bound Singapore (OBS) programme is the one that stands out the most. This is due to the fact that the programme has helped me to overcome my physical weaknesses and help to further hone my strengths. An activity which i had done during the programme would

be the kayaking. Kayaking is a strenuous activity which requires most of the arm muscles in order to perform well in it. We had to traverse large distances of up to 5 kilometres across the waters. It was not an easy task to accomplish, especially with the raging water currents going against us. It took a long 2

hours to finally reach the end.

Sports help us to build up our bond with friends. Some people may think that they cannot bond with one other that has different opinion about the same sport activities that they are interested in. However knowing those who are ace in the activities will give a benefits to them because they can learn more and refine more. They can recognise their strength and weaknesses and with friends that has more experience will help them change with weaknesses into strength. It can help them be better in the activities and look professional playing them. They can be more sporty, healthy and stronger when they continuously improve from those who are expert in the sports.

Another benefit is that it allows people to enjoy more of such activities thus causing them to come out of their homes to do more of the activities.one such activity is kayaking.kayaking is almost the same as whitewater rafting but it is safer as you are rowing your kayak out in the sea instead of a river where there is rocks around.another reason why people would also enjoy kayaking is that they can row their kayak at their own pace instead of having to always row.in whitewater rafting,u have to keep on rowing in order not to tip the raft over while in a kayak you can row at your own pace as your are not going down a river in a very fast rate of speed so u do not have to constantly row your kayak thus allowing you to enjoy the scenery more. To sum it all up, various activities such as the one shown in the video and kayaking are both very efficient in terms of providing such benefits.

In conclusion, these are some of the difficulties of using these types of people in paying for their stuff in supermarkets.

(Describe video)
Based on the video, I can see a group of adults who are dressed elegantly and they seem to be rehearsing for a performance (musical).

(Challenge 1 + personal experience)
The first possible challenge in participating in this activity is memorising one's steps and trying to synchronise with one another. Based on my personal experience, there was once when I represented my school in an SYF performance for my CCA, which is Modern Dance. I found that it was quite a daunting task to be a dancer competing in such a major competition, as one has to learn the steps quickly and coordinate with the other dancers in order to produce an immaculate performance. It took months of hard work and rehearsals before our team could perfect our moves. Thankfully the effort paid off as we were awarded with a Gold by the judges!

(Challenge 2 + from another perspective)
If I were to consider from the perspective of a choreographer, another possible challenge would be to come up with the appropriate dance moves that would fit not only the music, but also the ability of the dancers. If the choreographer came up with a very complicated routine, but the dancers are unable to execute the moves well, the whole performance would be a flop. It is also rather laborious to come up with an original choreography, as there are so many good dance ideas that are already in use, especially with the prevalent use of Tik Tok nowadays.

In conclusion, preparing for a musical or a theatrical performance such as the one seen in the video is an onerous task that requires dedicated hours of rehearsals and one must be ready to take on the challenges that come along with it.
