This group is set up for everyone to discuss things related to walking, hiking, or anything that is fun. We are all fun hikers and we love to create a community for people to have fun together. 

It started with a group of fun hikers who always like to Gong Wu Gong Bo. Gong Wu Gong Bo in Singapore Slang means Idle talk about anything under the sky in Hokkien language. ( A form of dialect that originated from China) This sparks the creation of the GWGB hikers Facebook group. 

This GWGB will replace the previous acronym from "Gong Wu Gong Bo" to "Go Wander Go Beyond" in order to align to our initial objective, which is to cater to various groups of people from different cultures and backgrounds. 

So, what can you expect as a member of this group? πŸ€”

1. Daily posts from various members of past and present travel, locations, hiking adventures, and useful resources that are relevant.

2. Hiking events that are constantly organized from members for members.  

3. Collective events that will include all members to take part and join in the fun. 

4. Daily discussion on tips about traveling, hikes, mountain treks, and anything related to adventures.

Over here at Go Wander Go Beyond, anyone can start an event and find interested parties to hike together. We don't believe in micro-managing a group, we prefer an all-inclusive group and we love to collaborate with anyone.

The goal of the group is to serve you and provide this group with as much value as possible. All we asked for our members is to provide value, connect with like-minded people, and not spam or degrading comments.

Organizing Events
This section is for those who want to organize events.

  1. To create an event, pick one of the empty columns which are in pink.
  2. Enter the date of the event.
  3. Provide a name to the event.
  4. Provide details about the event.
  5. Change color from pink to green.
  6. Click Update in the column.
  7. When the event is completed, change the color of the column to blue.
