I've always been a self-abasing person. Growing up I've had too many belittling and unconfident thoughts about myself. Mostly they were centered around my lack of courageous and social habits. I'm neither a brave nor a socially active person, somewhat I'm always afraid to initiate a first conversation or to keep a conversation going when it's directed toward me. This went on to a point where couldn't even bring myself to buy something in a shop just because I was too much of chicken to talk to anyone. This is where the person I admire comes in, my father. Somehow, he never once let me take the easy way and let me continue being this extremely introverted and cowardly person once he found out that I have trouble conversing. My dad pushed me to a point where that I thought he was being a tyrant by forcing me to be more social. And that is until, I paid attention to how utterly brave he was when it comes to speaking his mind. Never once he faltered or hesitated to talk to someone and that is something I admired so much; now I'm thriving to become that person too. I wouldn't say I'm there though one day I'll be. So, thank you dad for pushing me and for that I totally admire with all my heart.
