Salyut 1 came before the other stations as the first space stations; it came from the soviet union. Skylab was the first space station America launched into space. It was operational until 1979. The ISS, (International space station) was planned out by 15 nations for many years. 1988 was the year the first part of the station was built. The next piece, Unity, was sent over not long after. It was cool to learn about a star's life. I did not know that they could turn into black dwarf. I think the white dwarf is the coolest of all the stages because it's that little spot were it is a dim light and only the core remains so it is like seeing the inside of a star. Another thing I did not know was that stars could be blue. It is interesting to think about how something so luminous and powerful could have started from gas, heat and dust. I think that it is amazing how scientist give to live in a giant module in space. Although living in space would be scary, I would love to do what not many people have done. One thing that I was wondering was if the different nations sent any astronauts to the ISS during this pandemic. It would not have been a good decision, but it is hard to keep someone in space for a year. You have to get them food, oxygen, water, supplies, and lot of other important things. They probably sent unmanned spacecrafts to get them all needed supplies.
 Another question that I had was how many people have died while on the ISS. I looked it up and it turns out no one has died on the International Space Station. This is a very big success for space travel.
The last thing that I wonder is why they only put 3-6 people on the ISS at on time. If it is about the size of a football field then I thought they would be able to fit 10-12 people inside. However, I do have some ideas on why there is a pittance of people inside.
1.Maybe there is not enough oxygen. It is hard to supply enough oxygen for a lot of people
2. It might be hard to produce enough food for everyone
3. It is hard to get people into space

The spaceship that Neil Armstrong, Buzz Aldrin, and Michael Collin rode to the moon, did not look look like i was expected it to look like. I was expecting it to be really bad and not really a success. But, it was. I never thought  they would actually come back to earth, because the technology was kinda bad. 
    I also read the International Space station. ( ISS ) It would of been SOOOO hard to build in space. And it probably took 5 years to build. I was wondering why the ISS could only have 3-6 people on at a time. Why cant you have more? Its not going to be like a trampoline and only a certain amount of people can go on it. Could it break if there were to many people?

I found this book so interesting. It's seems so weird to think right now, there are living beings sleeping, eating, or maybe even walking in space right now. Imagine the risk you take to spend a part of your life in outer space. There is so much happening up there that we don´t know about. Who knows what could happen. I do see why people think living in space could change you, your appearance, your appetite etc.. It was super smart to send astronaut Scott Kelly, to the ISS for about a year, while his identical twin stayed home. This was a great way to try to test this theory. I found it surprising how they are always creating new modules to add on to the ISS. This will cause even more people to be able to live up there. The book said that by the 2020´s there would be a new Space Station, I wonder how soon that will be. It's interesting how the ISS is run off of solar energy. Kind of predictable because it's pretty close to the sun; and at night it's run off of rechargeable batteries. I'm not sure about everyone else, but living in outer space doesn't please me. This book was packed with information, when I was reading this book I felt as if I were one of the astronauts on the ship. This book gave us information about what people do when they're in space. Can you imagine being in a spaceship for years? You have to get used to the way you eat the way you sleep the way you use the restroom, you would have to get used to your new life for the time being. If I had a choice to stay or to go, I would 100000000000000% choose stay on the ground. It was kind of cool that they found someone who wanted to go into space that had a twin. Imagine how helpful that would be to help study how space changes the body. Since the ISS runs of solar power, they use batteries in the night, but what if the batteries just broke while they were sleeping? Would it just stop working till they replaced it, or would it cause the ship to loose oxygen and everyone in it would die?

The thing that was very interesting was that scientist believe the sun will start to die in about 5 billion years from now.
The sun has 6 lairs that are cald core, radioactive zone, convective zone, photosphere, chromosphere, transition region, and corona. Without the sun the earth would just be cold empty no living things on there. 
How do we get seasons? Well the earth moves around the sun and creates fall spring summer winter. 
Sometimes the magnet field explodes. I thought it was completely fasinnating. The story of Humans making their first land on the moon the cold war between Russia and america I knew about, but exatly how it happened I didn´t know. 
I did not know that the people how actaully went on the moon were detached from the ship on when on the way down to landing
. Also about how the Astronauts were supposed to spend the night on the moon but got too excited and only spent five hours before going back.

The ISS was planned by 15 nations the main nations that helped were Nasa, Russia, Europe, Japan and Canada. The first space station that was created was Salyut 1. It was launched in 1971 by the Soviet Union. There were other space stations launched by the Soviet Union including, Salyut 1, 3, 4, 5, 6, and 7. I don't know a lot about space but I would definitely want to go to space even though i'll probably never get there but who knows. The most thing I find appealing about space is the less 0 gravity and how things can float. I wonder how it feels like but I found a video where people go on a plane and have 0 gravity on there and don't even go into orbit.
