Students will need to write and perform a news broadcast reporting from a biome, discussing climate, flora, fauna, and human impact. Include your script, film, and any edits from the first draft to your final copy.

Students will need to collect and analyze real climate data from various biomes to compare patterns. For the biomes that are not around your house, use the NOAA climate data to study those such as marine or grasslands. Choose how to create 2 graphs of the data and provide conclusions to results from both graphs.

Students can use google sheets or Excel to great your graphs, to collect your data, I suggest you use google forms (a form you can submit multiple times)

Students will be creating a virtual museum showcasing their chosen biome. Students will be creating a interactive slide or page with a labeled diagrams, videos, maps, and infographics.

After students are put into groups, students will be conducting research and debate issues like deforestation, climate change, or tourism in specific biomes.

Students should use padlet or flip to create their debate topics and to receive responses to their questions.

Students will be reflecting through daily journal entries by imagining they live in a chosen biome for a month. Students should include personal experiences or responses to the climate, challenges, and daily life.

Students should be using google docs or book creator to create their journal

Students will be designing a digital escape room game where another group must solve the biome-related puzzles to escape or survive the environment.

Students can create digital escape rooms through google slides or create a google form that will only unlock when a certain code can be entered. Look for examples online to get you started.

They are to use what sounds they hear from the animals to create at least part of the song. What is the feel of the biome is what they are able to find about the biome and sounds that can be heard other than birds/animals.

Students can use the WeVideo as the best one or find a new website that is free where you can adjust and make music.

Students will be creating a google website where they are going to pick 2 biomes to compare and contrast including plant/animal IDs, adaptations, and interactions.

Students can create a google website through your google account. Be sure to publish it after each addition to the website for it to accurately save your biomes.
