Keep the students interests in mind, and pick texts that they will like.<br>3.Be open to all types of mentor texts, for they can be found everywhere.<br>4. Staying relevant in pop culture, so "real world content" is more easily relatable to students.<br>5.  Use multiple mentor texts throughout lessons, embrace fluidity. </div>]]></description>
