I really enjoy using both Gimkit and Quizizz. Quizizz is a review that allows students to look at the material multiple times and to work until they are satisfied with their grade. Gimkit is a great review game that can be done in 5 or 40 minutes. I use it to review and also to check out prior knowledge or introduce a unit. It's fun and the kids love the competition.

I use quizizz. It is versatile enough that I can use it for review or for a quiz. It seems to work well on the technology that we have available

My favorite strategies are interactive online labs, hands on exploratory labs and classroom discussions after a learning experience. Kahoots are great for review and sometimes as a pre-unit assessment. Gimkit seems to have too many game strategies where a loser of a game can win all the money and win the game. My freshman like it but my seniors don't. Padlet is great to get kids attention sometimes I have students just find a meme that describes their current mood to get them interested. They love to see what others post. Today in biology we got into groups and researched the corona virus and students presented their findings in class so students know what is going in the world. They LOVED it.

I am "In Love" with Quizizz.. Quizizz serves as a beginning of my class bell ringer.. It includes a 50/50 amount of questions which we had discussed in the previous class and questions on what we will be discussing next. This offers me an insight of how well the students understand what we just learned AND what they may have already been taught.
