Yesterday we played Gimkit in Human vs. Zombie mode and the kids couldn't get enough!]]> 2020-02-19 14:07:16 UTC https://padlet.com/linda_oliver5/uyy9zuph29cz/wish/447401214 leabausher1 https://padlet.com/linda_oliver5/uyy9zuph29cz/wish/447509024 My favorite strategies are interactive online labs, hands on exploratory labs and classroom discussions after a learning experience.  Kahoots are great for review and sometimes as a pre-unit assessment.  Gimkit seems to have too many game strategies where a loser of a game can win all the money and win the game.  My freshman like it but my seniors don't.  Padlet is great to get kids attention sometimes I have students just find a meme that describes their current mood to get them interested.  They love to see what others post. Today in biology we got into groups and researched the corona virus and students presented their findings in class so students know what is going in the world.  They LOVED it.
