I did not like the way Sounder was written because it was hard to understand. But it turned out to be a good book, and I enjoyed it.

Sounder was a hunting dog and enjoyed hunting with the boy's father. He was known for his loud howl.

I think Sounder was a good book. It told the story of how a boy who longed to become literate, moves forward beyond his struggles, to learn to read. I felt the book was well written, and you really get an idea of how people lived during the Great Depression.

One thing I did not like about Sounder was that it was kind of hard to follow, and used a lot of old terms and analogies.

I would recommend Sounder to people who like inspirational stories. Sounder told the timeless story of how a boy overcame illiteracy.

I think a good trait to describe the boy is strong willed. He had to learn to keep his eye on the prize, even though his world around him was struggling.

Sounder is a very good example of a classic book. Sounder is a timeless book, with a good moral. It also complex and very expressive. As these are only some elements of a classic book, Sounder does contain more and is great for required reading.

I think the boy was very brave to pursue his father because not many people would think of doing that. He also showed courage when he learned to read, and that sets a great example for children everywhere.
