         <description><![CDATA[<div>I think Sounder was a good book. It told the&nbsp; story of how a boy who longed to become literate, moves forward beyond his struggles, to learn to read. I felt the book was well written, and you really get an idea of how people lived during the Great Depression.</div>]]></description>
