After 5 years of isolation and chemotherapy, this was Autumn’s first social setting outside of hospitals. Mrs. Weston helped Autumn come out of her shell and absolutely love school. She can’t wait every day to come home and tell us all she’s learned. When she’s not in school, she’s playing school with her little sister. I can hear her using terms and practices she learned from Mrs. Weston. Autumn also missed a lot of school this year due to major surgery and Mrs. Weston not only had the class send her letters to the hospital, but she made the extra efforts to catch Autumn back up like she didn’t skip a beat. Autumn went through some scary stuff and she held onto Mrs. Weston and the class to get her back to school and recover as quickly as she could. WE LOVE YOU MRS. WESTON. We could not have done this year without you. ❤️‍🩹
