The Scientific Revolution was a time period in Europe that lasted sometime between 1500-1700. People especially scientists began to question how things work and why they work. What was sought to be the truth scientists exposed to be false and the Bible, ancient Greece and classical thinkers like Aristotle was no longer the sources on how the world works.

Isaac Newton was born on January 4, 1643, in Woolsthorpe, Lincolnshire, England. Using the "old" Julien calendar, Newton's birth date is sometimes displayed as December 25, 1642. Before Isaac Newton people didn't know why the planets were set how they are, but then after him people figured out that it was because the sun was using the Gravitational pull to keep the planets in place, another thing people thought be fore Newton. Newton had new ideas about motion, which he called his three laws of motion. He also had ideas about gravity,, the diffraction of light and forces. His discovery of calculus led the way to more powerful methods of solving mathematical problems. Issac Newton's mom wanted him to be a farmer.

The scientific had LOTS of scientists but there was 7 major ones that mostly changed the world. One scientist Copernicus, a astronomer from Poland, proved that the Sun is the center of the Solar system, not the Earth as people previously once thought. Copernicus came up with the Heliocentric theory. Leonardo da Vinci, who studied the human anatomy by dissection of humans. The Catholic Churches thought this was a disgrace and often criticized Vinci. Johannes Kepler, a German scientist, basically helped prove Copernicus' theory true by discovering that planets move in eclipses around the Sun and not perfect circle. With Kepler's help Copernicus' Heliocentric theory was proven. Galileo, thought that Aristotle's theory was wrong. Galileo from Italy built his own telescope but did not invent it. He discovered four of Jupiter's moons and studied Venus and the phases of the moon.

Andreas Vesalius, was a Belgium Scientist. He studied the Human anatomy as well as Leonardo. Vesalius explained how the human body works and functions. He earned his medical degree and became a personal doctor of Spanish royal families, and Italian. Worked on the structure of the Human Body. William Harvey an English doctor as well as a teacher, proved the circulation of blood throughout the body and that the heart was responsible for that. Harvey was also the personal doctor for King James I. His ideas were published in An Anatomical Treatise on the Movement of the Heart and Blood in Animals. Isaac Newton, an English scientist, studied the concepts of gravity, heat, light, and motion. Newton has all his discoveries in Mathematical Principles of Natural Philosophy.
