Tourism locations often negatively impact natural habitats of wild species because it fuel off the need to accommodate more tourists to  boost the economy by building infrastructures designed to circulate tourism activities such as hotels. Additionally, animal viewing sites can put the animal at risk of developing major stress-related illnesses. Despite what Ecotourism can desire to be, I don't think it's very ethical right now. The economic and Social impacts on culture and Habitats far out-weigh any pros that are provided from Ecotourism. For example while it's a good thing that people will want to explore new cultures and traditions, that benefit doesn't out-weigh the con of cultures perhaps inadvertently adapting their ways of life to better entertain tourists or the fact that ecotourism also leads to a lot of animals dying.
