The Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) emphasized the honor of mothers by stating, “Paradise lies beneath the feet of mothers.” Fathers are also highly respected for their roles as providers and protectors, as seen in the hadith: “The pleasure of Allah is in the pleasure of the father, and the displeasure of Allah is in the displeasure of the father.” (Tirmidhi).

Even after their passing, children can continue honoring parents by making dua for their forgiveness, fulfilling their promises, maintaining ties with their loved ones, and performing charity on their behalf. These teachings highlight the importance of prioritizing parents as a central tenet of faith and morality in Islam.

The belief in resurrection asserts that all human beings will be resurrected on the Day of Judgment. This event is central to Islamic eschatology, where everyone will be revived from their graves for accountability before Allah.

• Qur’anic Reference:

  • "And it is He who begins creation; then He will repeat it; and that is easier for Him. To Him belongs the example of the heavens and the earth. How could He have a son when He does not have a companion, and He created everything, and He is, of all things, Knowing?" (Surah An'am 6:101)

  • "The Day the earth will shine with the light of its Lord and the record will be placed, and the prophets and the witnesses will be brought, and it will be judged between them in truth, and they will not be wronged."(Surah Az-Zumar 39:69)

4. Day of Judgment (Yawm al-Hisab)

The Day of Judgment, known as Yawm al-Hisab, is the day when every individual’s deeds will be weighed and they will be held accountable for their actions, which will determine their eternal fate.

  • "And the weighing on that Day will be true. So those whose scales are heavy – it is they who are the successful. And those whose scales are light – it is they who have lost their souls, in Hell they will abide."(Surah Al- A'raf 7:8-9)

  • "And the [record] will be placed, and you will see the criminals fearful of what is within it, and they will say, 'O woe to us! What is this book that leaves nothing small or large, except that it has enumerated it?'" (Surah Al-Kahf 18:49)

  The Siraat (Bridge):

  • "And there is none of you except he will come to it. This is upon your Lord an inevitable decree. Then We will save those who feared Allah and leave the wrongdoers therein, kneeling." (Surah Maryam 19:71-72)

  Allah’s Mercy and Accountability:

  • "Indeed, Allah does not forgive association with Him, but He forgives what is less than that for whom He wills. And he who associates others with Allah has certainly fabricated a tremendous sin." (Surah An-Nisa 4:48)

    
    

6. Paradise (Jannah) and Hell (Jahannam) are the final, eternal abodes where individuals will be placed according to their deeds, with Paradise being the reward for the righteous and Hell the punishment for the wicked.

  • "Indeed, those who have believed and done righteous deeds – they will have the Gardens of Paradise as a lodging, wherein they will abide eternally. They will not desire from it any transfer." (Surah Al-Kahf 18:107-108)
