Basketball has been apart of my life before I even gained interest in it. When I was still living in the Philippines, my family and friends were very hooked onto this sport, which is very common in the country. I’ve always watched my older brother play and he was basically an inspiration for me. I started playing basketball in third grade, as I got older my love for the sport bloomed. Now I am currently playing varsity for the high school.

Aquarium

During this summer I got the opportunity to visit the Georgia Aquarium in Atlanta, Georgia. Not only that, but my mom, sister and I slept over at the aquarium. This was a very fun trip even though that specific area in the city is kind of sketchy. Overall, it was amazing. Being able to go behind the scenes and learn in depth about the animals and the aquarium itself is so interesting.

Volleyball

Something that has been going good lately is this volleyball season. I have been having so much fun playing. Also meeting new people and becoming friends with them is always good. I have amazing friends on this team and I’m so grateful for them. I can’t wait for the rest of the season!

Strengths Interests and Needs

Coming from a student’s perspective, starting off with strengths, I am a very open minded learner. I enjoy trying to learn new things in school. I try my best to be kind and understanding of everyone I’m surrounded with. My interests are books that keep me interested, like books with an interesting or heavy plot. I love reading as long as I’m invested in the story. Another interest of mine is sports, which I’ve mentioned many times, basketball and volleyball. The last interest I am going to mention is anything medical, I severely want to become a nurse or anyone who works in the medical field. I don’t really have any needs, all I need for myself is to not procrastinate on work, actually prioritizing my work for other stuff.
