         <title>Flowers</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Plants such as ferns and mosses do not grow flowers.<br>&nbsp;Plants that are going to grow fruit, need to have flowers that get pollinated.<br>Flowers have male and female parts.<br>Some flowers can be used to make cloth, like cotton.<br>The petals attract bugs and birds, so that the flower can get pollinated.<br>Cereals like what and rice are flowering plants.<br><br></div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Some seeds found in the arctic were 10 000 yrs old<br>When the tomato seed starts to grow this called GERMINATION.<br>When a bird eats fruit, they eat the seeds too. Then they poo out the seeds and it should grow.&nbsp;<br>We can eat seeds, but they usually don't get digested.<br><br></div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Fruits come in many different sizes, shapes and colours.<br>Oranges, lemons and limes are all citrus fruits.<br>some fruit, such as pears and peaches become softer as they ripen<br>Coconuts are fruit<br>Some fruits cannot be eaten. In fact, some are poisonous, including berries.<br>Some fruits contain many seeds.<br>&nbsp;Some fruits surround a single large seed - called a PIT.<br>Vegetables and fruit contain vitamins and fiber which are important for us to stay health.<br><br></div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Almost all plants that have leaves, take in carbon dioxide and release oxygen!<br>Leaves have tiny holes called STOMATA - that help the plants breath.<br>Some plants are used for medicine.<br>Plants use the light from the sun, as energy and water from the soil and carbon dioxide from the air to make a sugary substance, call carbohydrates.<br>Photosynthesis!<br>The substance that makes leaves green is called, CHLOROPHYLL.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div><br>We eat the stem of the rhubarb plants, it's leaves are poisons. This protects the stems and roots.<br>Trees start out as thin SAPLINGS. As they grow taller, their stem gets wider = called a TRUNK.<br>There are different types of stems. Such as, woody stems, Herbaceous.<br><br>Some plants, such as grapes, grow on climbing plants, call VINES.</div>]]></description>
