As these armlets and ear rings are made out of gold, during that time of period only the rich could afford it thus I can infer from this that people living before 1819 were rich and lived a luxurious lifestyle. This also tells us that the country was prosperous.

Singapore's business was successful and had many economic connection with the world even before 1819 that there were traders from other parts of the world coming to Singapore to trade even before 1819. This source tell us about the economic connections Singapore had with India, China and other parts of Southeast Asia most probably due to the rise of Temasek which was caused by the fall of the kingdom of Srivijaya, the role of Temasek an entrepot, the advantages of monsoons to Temasek and the role of sang Utama and the also pull factors of Singapore that were the geostrategic location, better job and business opportunities and better job prospects. The gold armlet resembled a Hindu God, which is an evidence that it probably belonged to an Indian trader. The broken pottery and ceramics were probably left by trader from China, which is evidence that it probably belonged to a Chinese trader.

This source tells me that the technology was not advanced yet and soldiers had to use that instead of guns as projectile weapons.
In conclusion, these sources tells me that Singapore had connections with other countries, Singapore was very wealthy, and that Singapore had military defences against other countries that may attempt to attack them.

(a)This source is based on a sign in Fort Canning Hill that describes the spices and their cultural use.

I can infer that the people in Singapore before the 1819 uses spices for food, medicine and many more.

The evidences are, "The use of spices in rituals, customs, products and food dates back to thousands of years, through civilization and and across cultures. The ancient Egyptians, Romans, Indians, Greeks and Chinese used spices to flavor food, as medicine, religious offerings, in magic potions and even air fresheners."

Different cultures uses same spices for different things, for example, pepper was used once as currency and a mixture of spices were used in embalming rituals, both to preserve the body as well as to make it smell more pleasant. The ancient Indian system of health care known as Ayurvedaor or Ayurvedic medicine has incorporated many herbs and spices in their health concoctions.

(b)This source is based on the history textbook of page 45.

I can infer that in the past, people in Singapore walk long distances to visit religious places.

The evidences are, "In the past, people went on long, dangerous journeys to either visit religious places or look for new places to buy and sell goods."

The people in the past were dedicated to their culture to the point that they will would risk their safety to visit religious places.

(c)This source is based on the gold ornaments found at Fort Canning Hill.

The evidences are, "The Kala Motif is a protective symbol found at the entrance of Hindu and Javanese temples dating from 8th to 14th century. Thus, the gold ornaments was from Java and it was brought to Singapore probably to influence the people in Singapore with Javanese culture.

The Javanese culture wanted to influence Singapore into the Javanese culture and thus is relevant to the aspects of life that I am focusing on which is culture.
