The Parthenon is a former temple on the Athenian Acropolis, Greece, dedicated to the goddess Athena, whom the people of Athens considered their patron (I heard you guys studied Greek mythology last year in sixth grade!). Funny enough, although most enjoy Greek mythology, I, however, on the contrary, do not care for it, yet my experience visiting this sculpture was dramatically wonderful. Although the original Parthenon is in Greece, there is this replica that I am at is in Nashville, Tennessee. I am an advocate for experiencing new things as much as possible, so I was excited to be able to see this in person. After an hour or so, my friends were ready to release themselves from the building to see what else Nashville has to offer. Because I did not want to be abandoned there all day, I made sure I rushed out. My analogy is a performer and action analogy. When I was younger, I enjoyed drawing and coloring, and spent almost all day doing it. I thought I was pretty happy, but the first time I picked up a paintbrush was magic. When I was around seven, I began to paint pictures to hang around the house. By the time I was ten, I would do special paintings for holidays, or just for decoration on our walls.  Some of my favorite birthday or Christmas gifts were new paints, brushes, and canvases. Now, I am experimenting with my paintings and learning new techniques to make my art better. The second part of my analogy is about my sister. She, too, enjoys painting, but is way too young  to know how to use brushes and paint correctly. I've had to throw away brushes and I run out of expensive paint fast. Because of this, my sister is not allowed in my room.
