I will need to write a small evaluation about why these two courses are suitable for my progression.<br><br>I will also need to identify and source 2 examples of jobs which are 'General Art' related that I would be interested in applying for. I will need to analyse the roles to acknowledge what skills are required, whether I have the correct qualifications, what the salary is and if the location is suitable. To be able to get onto the course I would need 240-280 points to include a minimum of 2 A levels or equivalent. I would be required to attend an interview. English language proficiency at a minimum of IELTS band 6.0 with no component score below 5.5.&nbsp;<strong>The course would cost:</strong><br><strong>UK/EU/Channel Islands and Isle of Man students:</strong><br>2016/17 entry: full time: £9,000 p/a*<br>The duration of this course is 3 years, 4 years sandwich with work placement. To be able to get onto the course I would need 280 UCAS tariff points from A/AS Level with a minimum of 2 A Levels and in addition to qualifications, I would need a good portfolio.&nbsp;<strong>The cost of the course is:</strong>&nbsp;£9,000 per year.&nbsp;<br>The duration of the course is 3 years.          <description><![CDATA[<div>The first job I would be interested in applying for is to be a trainee image retoucher.&nbsp;<br><strong>What I would be required to do in this job is:</strong><br>- Retouch a high volume of digital product imagery in line with the top level objectives of the company.<br>-Perform basic adjustments to images including exposure, colour correction, sharpening and cropping etc.<br>-Contact brands for supplier product, lifestyle and logo imagery.<br>-Accurately label images with correct file names to match product.<br>-Upload product images onto the website.<br>-Organise and maintain an image library.<br>-Liaise with the photographers and other members of the studio to create top quality images in a timely fashion.<br><strong>What is the salary?And is the location suitable?<br></strong>The salary for this job is £15,000 to £18,000 per annum, it is a permanent full time Monday to Friday 9am- 5:30pm job. The location of the job is the Braintree area which is roughly 35 miles from where I live- to get there I would need to take three trains, so the location is not really suitable unless I had a car.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>The second job I would be interested in applying for is to be a art sales consultant based at sea. <br><strong>What would I be required to do in this job is: <br></strong>-I would be expected to work towards realistic but challenging individual sales targets and build a loyal client base very quickly. Other than delivering sales the successful candidate will be working directly for the Gallery Manager providing support with curating, hanging, preparing for on-board events, artist talks and private views.<br>-Be a successful sales person with a proven track record<br>-Be a confident public speaker (for artist talks)<br>-Be very flexible with hours of work, you work every day on-board<br>-I would need to be happy to be away from home for around 5-6 months at a time<br>-I would require to have EU Passport with at least 12 months before expiry<br>-I would need to be happy to share a cabin with another employee (same sex)<br><strong>Qualifications? What is the salary? and is the location suitable?<br></strong>For this job I would need to have a minimum of 1 year sales experience, which I currently do not have. On the job advertisement the salary is not shown, so I don't know how much money I would earn. The starting location point is London, which is easy to get to from where I live, I also do not mind the idea of getting to travel to other countries. </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Jack of the dust is a skull making company on the Gold Coast of Australia who create skulls from three main materials of PVC plastic, urethane plastic and resin. <br>They have used Instagram to promote their work by posting pictures and 360 degree spin videos of the skulls final outcome. They also promote other artists within their Instagram page by giving them a "shout out" who then return the favour, by doing this their audience grows as more people see the range of work they produce. </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>This piece of work of chairs I found on my visit to Tent London. The scale of the work was large, which is why it caught my attention. In the gallery space, the two chairs were placed roughly a metre away from each other, however they were still in-line with each other. There was no other work in the same area, so all the attention was on the chairs made by the artist.&nbsp;</div>]]></description>

         <title>Lamp Shades- Tent London</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>This piece of work of lamps I found on my visit to Tent London. The work was hung above eye level so you had to look up to view the work produced by the artist. The lamp shades where presented within the space of about 3 metres by a metre section of the gallery. I engaged with the art work produced because of the bright colours, as this caught my attention, also because of the messages written across some of the lamp shades produced.&nbsp;</div>]]></description>
