I choose this quote because I think it sums up the mission behind MTSS. Making changes to the system and modify it to meet the needs of the students is the ultimate goal. The core of how educators meet the individualized needs of the student by integrating the instruction with differentiated  support and effective strategies to help guide their progress. This quote is meaningful and answers the essential question “How does the state of California envision support for all students at the school and district levels,” because it explains how MTSS challenges all school staff to change. I found it meaningful because change is hard for many people, especially for all school staff who have been doing things the same for many years.
