C: I think it is an overused word in our Christian community. It is quite "christianese" and we are somehow expected to know what obedience really means. With regards to it being contentious - i don't really think that Christians will find it contentious. Just a concept that we are already very used to. Mushi's sermon was good at elaborating the concept of obedience.
