         <description><![CDATA[<p>I was inspired by the MIT fog harvesting mesh, I think that this initiative would suit many of our dry, high altitude environments in Australia. The presentation is clear and effective, demonstrating the biomimetic function of the nambib beetle collecting water from fog. I like that this is a proactive example of how using biomimicry can help farmers, through a simple easily installed system. </p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>ORNILUX® Bird Protection Glass: I think this is a great example of biomimicry design. By using spiderweb-like material to reflect the light from windows birds avoid crashing into them. This is an effective way to help nature live safely in the world we have created and in turn help save humanity.</p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>I was interested by Phalanx, who made an eco-friendly solution to cooling architectural structures. They took inspiration from the airways of camels, the capillary system of wheat, and the structure of termite mounds. I was especially interested in the idea of using the capillaries to redirect are release heat. I like that it can be implemented on already existing architecture as this makes it a more appealing and realistic option. </p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>I was really surprised to learn that the way honey bees distribute efforts in creating nektar follows the same algorithm as distributing capacities of servers. I'm surprised how the algorithm of bees is so efficient, that it's able to withhold such a giant scaling by server hosting companies. I would've liked to see a visual representation of the actual algorith.</p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>By using the patterns that nature use on a cellular level to create structure, the radiolaria project is able to create strong, soft and flexible products without the need for glues and joins. By creating furniture with a single piece, the load can be spread throughout evenly. I think this can be a great way to reduce cost, it also gives options to being more customisable too, to suit everyone's preferences.</p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>Derby the dog</p><p><br/></p><p>I am inspired by this 3D printing because he was born with the wrong front legs.</p><p>when they gave him the cart it didn't give him the full potential he needed. The great outcome was by designing his 3D prosthetic leg and he loves it.</p><p>they show a different design to a normal dog leg and its more like two sleds that give him full capabilities to live his happiest life.</p>]]></description>
