Victims of abuse- When children are raised in broken families, they become subject to abuse or neglect, which intentional or unintentional. A single parent could have to work and a child is left with a babysitter, which could create an unsafe enviornment where a child could get abuse, without the parent being aware. An alcoholic parent can be verbally and physically abusive when drunk to a child.
