I have learned so much in these two units about the various layers of lenses that teachers might use while their students are engaging in playwork and additionally, the close connection to the indigenous inhabitants of the land and the significance of honouring them for preserving it so that we can all reside therein. By questioning established beliefs about both Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal cultures, historically relevant Aboriginal cultures catalysed social, political, and cultural transformation in Australia. Allowing young children to engage in play activities within their communities, fosters a sense of place (Land) and community. (The connection to place and play)The familiarity with and understanding of these practices could result in a better generation that carries these practices forward to their generations.

This is an agreement that universally agrees with a list of standards and duties that are non-negotiable under any circumstances for the rights of children under 18. Play is an actively selected, self-directed, and innately driven process. In other words, by following their ideas, interests, and instincts in their way and for their reasons, children and young people decide and control the nature and intent of their play.

Each aspect of playworkers' work is guided by the Playwork Principles. They give a common understanding of the role of playworkers and describe the playwork technique.

How does the theory of Maria Montessori relate to playwork?

Pop-Up Play Programmes are important because they provide children and their families with the opportunity for constructive play, which fosters learning in a healthy setting and allows parents the self-assurance to start playdates with their kids. We were able to practically experience different perspectives on playwork, place-based learning, and connection to place and play, by taking part in Pop Up Sessions, which were concepts we discussed in class.

The strategies I'll use in my service.

Taking into account all of the previously mentioned topics and justifications, I will do all in my ability to put strategies and more child-led play sessions into action. I will also do everything in my power to inform parents about the value of stressless/risky/loose parts play by putting up posters, brochures(have access to QR codes) and more information on the service's website. To promote diversity, I also do all that I can to post material in the various languages that the families of the service demand. Additionally, invite parents to assist their children in gathering recyclables and support their involvement in donating loose parts to support sustainable practices. Educate my co-workers about the play Ninja strategy and make every effort to put it into practice. Allowing child agency within the service.
