         <description><![CDATA[<div><br>one cause of the plague was the rats who had fleas on them that when close to humans would jump overboard infecting the human with the plague. symptoms of the plague vary from Fever and chills, Weakness, diarrhea and vomiting and bubos in your armpits, groin and neck.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>The living condititons during the plague didnt help slow the spread of the plague they got their water from the same wells had no sewerage system and there were animals such as pigs, cows, horses, etc. living on the street. They also beleived that god had been upset with them and caused the plague so a group of people called the flaggelants would whip themselves to try and speed up gods punishment and stop the plague but the open wounds would just make them more open to infection. The people also believed the plague was caused because of the jewish race poisoning the wells.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>The role of trade during the black death effected the plague because when the plague originated in mongolia the rats would get on the traders boats and other ways of transportation and take the plague to europe and the traders would have the plague themselves and they would travel and spread the plague to various regions then from the places it had already spread, it would continue spreading across the rest of the region of europe leaving only few places untouched.</div>]]></description>
