         <description><![CDATA[<p>A couple of months ago, I have shared my research proposal with you. It was about detecting the software supply chain attack vulnerabilities from the online package repositories like (npm, maven central, pypi). </p><p><br></p><p>There was a part where I had to find out the correlation of the factors which are associated and how much associated for a codebase / package being malicious. </p><p><br></p><p>Since the dataset wasn't following a normal distribution, I had used Shapiro-Wilk test for that. </p><p><br></p><p>During the non-parametric lecture of chapter 3, you have shown us a reference from wiki where it was said that: the non-parametric test is used to identify whether the samples originate from the same distribution.</p><p><br></p><p>Does this mean that my approach is wrong for finding out the correlation between the factors and the dataset by following the above method? </p><p><br></p>]]></description>
