In order to find a suitable Apprenticeship you must be confident that you are ready to start work full time and that you know which career sector is for you.

- You will need to do lots of research using websites such as https://www.apprenticeships.gov.uk/ You can register on the site for alerts for jobs as they become available.

- Training providers often have a list of jobs which you can apply for and will provide help and advice.

- You should also check the websites of large companies who may do their own recruitment. Especially utilities, construction and manufacturing sectors

- You will need to make a CV (templates can be found on the CEIAG Teams channel files) which can be checked over by CEIAG.

- You will need to be resilient! There can be many applicants for one position of all ages and experience, therefore you may need to apply for lots of jobs before you are successful.

Do not limit yourself to apprenticeship websites. Approach companies directly and speak to friends and family as many jobs are found through word of mouth.

- Make sure you have a back up plan. All year 11 students should have an offer for a college course in case they do not find a job straight away.

What is the T Level in Accounting?
T Levels are a great alternative to A Levels and a stepping stone into an ACCA Apprenticeship. It is ideal for students who are confident in the career they want to pursue to help them get a head start.
 
The T Level in Accounting is a two-year qualification for 16-18-year-olds. It is a brilliant way for students to develop the knowledge needed and also gain work experience with an employer where they can apply what is learned in the classroom to real workplace situations.
